This will bring amplify monsoons, alter river flows, and increase droughts, impacting water demand and supply.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=&#8221;sky&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Analysis&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1665396019677-3b45896e-421ce7e6-e752c4f0-c3ec&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Climate Change Analysis on Water Resources Management in South Asia<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; font-size: 15px; color: #000000; line-height: 28px; text-decoration: none;\">By 2050, water-related losses in sectors like agriculture, health, income, and infrastructure will cause South Asia&#8217;s <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/documents1.worldbank.org\/curated\/en\/847951522835210828\/pdf\/124894-WP-P153431-PUBLIC-Climate-Change-and-WRM-Summary-Report-FINAL-web-version.pdf\">GDP growth to decline by 6%<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; font-size: 15px; color: #000000; line-height: 28px; text-decoration: none;\">The <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gwp.org\/en\/gwp-SAS\/ABOUT-GWP-SAS\/WHY\/About-IWRM\/\">Global Water Partnership<\/a><\/span><\/strong> states that integrated water resource management (IWRM) is a process that fosters coordinated development and management of water, land, and related resources. This aims to maximize economic and social welfare while ensuring ecosystem sustainability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; font-size: 15px; color: #000000; line-height: 28px; text-decoration: none;\">The <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/sar-climate.adpc.net\/index.php\/2022\/05\/30\/climate-change-action-plan-2021-2025-supporting-green-resilient-and-inclusive-development\/\">World Bank<\/a><\/strong><\/span> states that increased temperature and variable rainfall will reduce water and crop productivity, affecting food prices, nutrition, and livelihoods. Furthermore, saltwater intrusion from sea-level rise in low-lying agricultural plains is further expected to exacerbate these issues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; font-size: 15px; color: #000000; line-height: 28px; text-decoration: none;\">Furthermore, South Asian countries pledge to execute integrated water resource management strategies via their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;
