Net-zero emissions are deemed essential, and carbon dioxide removal will be necessary to counter emissions from sectors that are challenging to eliminate, such as aviation and agriculture.<\/li>\n<li>A rapid reduction in annual emissions, close to 7 percent per year, is stressed as a crucial pathway. Collaboration between authors and contributors in IPCC assessments has successfully promoted interdisciplinary approaches to climate change solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Recent energy crises and supply chain vulnerabilities are seen as reinforcing the need to transition to renewable energy sources and achieve net-zero emissions.<\/li>\n<li>Sustainability concerns related to land, water, biodiversity, and cost are highlighted in the context of bioenergy. Adequate funding is identified as a critical element for effective climate adaptation, especially in Asia.<\/li>\n<li>Technology development is recognized as offering positive opportunities for mitigation and adaptation, with digital technologies and smart supply chain management playing pivotal roles.<\/li>\n<li>The IPCC&#8217;s recommendations and reports can benefit low-income Asian
