The 500 MW Solar Programme of Bangladesh covers the government initiative in renewable energy development from different sources like solar, wind, biomass, biogas, hydro tidal and wave to achieve the target of generating 10% from renewable sources by 2020.
The Programme document also includes the institutional framework for renewable energy development, investment requirement, fiscal initiatives, capacity development, etc.
